What info does Arthur Barnett collect?

Arthur Barnett collects information about you from several sources. It is normally provided by you in the course of shopping with us, or when you request information about promotions and events. In some cases it is provided by third parties, such as when you agree to undertake a credit check.

How do we collect the information?

You may have requested to be sent information about promotions and events. If you have an Arthur Barnett store card or Layby we will have received information during the application process. We also record your purchases on your store card so we can correctly charge you.

When will we disclose your information?

Arthur Barnett will never sell your information to third parties. At times we may disclose you information to allow another party to perform work on our behalf. Such instances would include delivering parcels, providing marketing assistance and processing payments. These parties will only have the information required for the task they are undertaking and must process any information as per the 1993 Privacy Act.
